This morning, we’re opening the doors on Unagi’s first brand store, on Abbot Kinney Boulevard in the heart of Venice, on L.A.’s Westside.

We’re excited to offer people in Los Angeles a new way to see, touch and ride the best-designed scooters on planet Earth. Now, you can test-drive an Unagi and see for yourself what the fuss is about.

If you like what you see, you can scoot out on your very own Unagi. We give you the option to buy a scooter outright, or–if commitment’s not your thing–pay a monthly fee via our amazing new subscription service, Unagi All-Access, and get our revolutionary electric scooter for less than $10 a week. Either way, you won’t have to share with strangers anymore.

Unagi All-Access –which launched exclusively in L.A. and New York last month– gives people a new way to get their own Unagi, without any commitment. Our flat $39 monthly price includes maintenance and insurance for scooter theft or damage. You can cancel anytime.

As cities re-open, people are looking for safer alternatives to get around without sharing transportation. Unagi empowers people to explore their city in a smarter, more sustainable way – and to do it in style.

Since the beginning of the year, demand for our scooters has skyrocketed. Unagi’s U.S. sales tripled between the first and second quarter of 2020. Our worldwide sales in Q2 were up 590% –a nearly seven-fold increase– compared with the second quarter of 2019. By any measure, that’s astounding. And we’re continuing to grow.
