Fully Remote Position

Job Description

As Unagi’s in-house SEO Analyst, you will be principally responsible for driving Unagi’s organic non-branded search traffic in the United States and Europe. You will learn the search landscape of the electric scooter industry in depth, and drive increased volume both individually and through collaboration with our in-house editorial, review, PR, and partners. On a weekly basis, you will be expected to identify keyword opportunities in target markets for our editorial team (including keywords in other languages), optimize on-site content for crawl efficiency, and conduct cold outbound email/phone campaigns for link building.

Qualifications

  • At least 2 years of hands-on SEO experience including off-site (e.g., keyword research and) link building campaigns), as well as on-site (e.g. page optimization, article tags)
  • Familiarity with Ahrefs, SEMRush, Moz, and/or Majestic
  • Familiarity with Google Search Console and Bing Webmaster Tools
  • Comfortable with outbound outreach campaigns, including cold phone and email campaigns
  • Past experience working with D2C and/or high-end brands is a plus

Compensation

A base salary of $55,000 - $85,000 commensurate with experience, paid time off, and stock options.

Job Description

We are looking for a Senior Industrial Designer who is passionate about design and leadership!

As a Senior Industrial Designer, you will enable accessible and productive experiences for our users and communicate the values of the brand through beautiful, functional hardware design. You will collaborate with an interdisciplinary team of engineers and marketers to make a significant impact on a rapidly-emerging class of products. If you are passionate about delivering great user experiences and have the skills to contribute, we want you to join our team as a Senior Industrial Designer.


What you'll do

  • Contribute a creatively adventurous outlook to bring bold, new ideas to the table.
  • Create form studies and prototypes that showcase your confidence in working with your hands.
  • Demonstrate and promote the importance of good design and brand values and their impact on society and business, including the Unagi brand and design philosophy.
  • Provide tactical management of ID projects, such as understanding technical needs and developing ideas while collaborating with engineers.
  • Provide Internal team coordination and associated workflow productivity.
  • Communicate with clients and vendors locally and abroad as needed.
  • Craft and organize all visual designs, written documents and presentations with skill and efficacy for clients' needs.
  • Assist leadership in client-facing meetings and other professional functions.
  • Provide skill and expertise working with an array of design tools to complete projects, such as 3D CAD SolidWorks, 3D Rendering, Adobe Creative Suite, MSFT Office to bring projects and presentations to life.
  • Demonstrate your understanding of the value of color, materials, and finishes as it applies to product design.
  • Convey a personal commitment to hard work and effective time management.


Key Qualifications

  • Bachelor's degree in Industrial Design or equivalent.
  • Must have 10+ years of recent and very relevant industrial design experience.
  • Excellence in relevant digital tools - Adobe CC, 3D CAD, rendering software.
  • Excellent hand sketching and form development skills.
  • Great problem solving and communication skills.
  • Demonstrate strong mechanical understanding and ability to interact with internal and external engineering teams.
  • Must have a portfolio that showcases a thoughtful creative process, excellent form control, and storytelling (sketches and models).

Finance and Analytics Director


The Finance and Analytics Director will be charged with managing and reporting critical metrics of performance in the company’s subscription and for-sale business lines. This cross-functional role will report to the CFO and have responsibility for understanding the drivers behind critical business assumptions and metrics and championing edits to business processes to optimize performance. In addition to these responsibilities, the role will also perform ad hoc financial analyses and forecast models to support the organization in contemplating new business opportunities, strategic direction and other critical initiatives.

Specifically:

  • Is the owner of reporting all unit economic metrics for the subscription business
  • Is the owner of reporting all for-sale performance, including revenue, units, COGS and gross profit across both direct to consumer (DTC) and brick and mortar (BM)
  • Identifies data sources and normalizes/automates data gathering
  • Prepares daily, weekly, monthly, quarterly and annual dashboards and reports
  • Works with operations, customer service, marketing and sales to identify, model and execute new strategies to optimize all metrics in the subscription business, with an iterative emphasis on identifying what works and what does not
  • Supports the CFO in maintaining the annual forecast
  • Performs budget vs actual analyses on a monthly basis
  • Partners with the CFO to model new business strategies and opportunities


Requirements:

  • At least five years of experience in a financial analysis role
  • Deep experience with tools such as Microsoft excel, google sheets and airtable
  • Familiarity with data structures and integrating/linking systems to reporting tools
  • MBA preferred
  • Familiarity with manufacturing and/or consumer electronics preferred
