Job Description

You will own the ecommerce stack for a fast-growing electric mobility startup. The core of this role is maintaining and extending the functionality of our Shopify+ site and supporting applications.

The ideal candidate for this role will be able to go from concept to wireframe to production for features. You will own the roadmap for new features and enhancing existing features. In addition, you will be responsible for data connectivity between Shopify+, Drip, Zendesk, Tradegecko, and any other platforms driving our business.

You will be expected to report and monitor site KPI’s and analytic trends to leadership teams. You will initiate actions to continuously improve site performance and identify opportunities for growth and optimization.

Requirements

  • Hands on experience with Shopify+
  • Experience with building international ecommerce sites 
  • Understanding of headless commerce
  • Experience with marketing automation tools such as Drip
  • Able to take concepts from wireframe to execution in Shopify
  • Extreme attention to detail when handling data
  • Excellent communication skills (written and verbal)
  • Candidate must be a highly motivated self-starter and responsible with proven assistance and follow-through ability
  • Ability to organize and prioritize, managing multiple projects
  • Good analytical and problem-solving skills
  • Ability to meet deadlines
  • Comfortable with ambiguity and not afraid to ask questions

Required Skills and Experience

  • 5+ years professional experience in ecommerce
    2+ years writing front-end code (Liquid, XHTML, CSS, JS)
    2+ years with order and inventory management software
    2+ years experience in CRM or email marketing
    2+ year with Google Sheets / Excel

Bonus

  • Specific experience with the following platforms: Shopify, Drip, Tradegecko
  • Understanding and ability to articulate customer lifecycle on and offsite
  • Understanding of international logistics

Job Description

As “Head of Product,” you will lead the development of new hardware, hardware changes, strategic expansion initiatives, and guidance of external teams and the team you build in-house. You’ll be responsible for identifying and tracking key performance indicators, including adhering to a build schedule. You will identify new product opportunities, translate those opportunities into product requirements and oversee design, engineering, and manufacturing resources to turn those ideas into world-class products. You will be responsible for continuously identifying and executing on ways to improve new and existing products through a deep understanding of our customers, competitors, and the changing landscape we operate in.

Responsibilities

  • Own development of new and in-market hardware products.

  • Plan, manage, execute and communicate product development both internally and working directly with ID, Engineering and CM partners.

  • Identify immediate and/or upcoming user needs, then work with resources to develop a product plan that addresses them.

  • Manage hardware tradeoffs, spanning ergonomics, weight, battery, torque, range, speed, and fun.

  • Manage collaboration and communication with other teams, both internal and external, to ensure teams have what they need and can work efficiently.

  • Maintain a prioritized customer touching product roadmap for the next 12 months with clear product requirements 

  • Have a high-level understanding of technical and operational aspects of the product that need to be considered as context or inputs into product decisions.

  • Be the cross-functional aggregator / decision driver to ensure the primary impact from cross-functional decisions are for the business performance or customer experience of a product.


Required Skills and Experience

  • 2-5+ years of consumer hardware product management experience

  • 5-10+ years of mechanical or electrical product engineering experience

  • BS / MS in mechanical and/or electrical engineering

  • History of successful consumer product launches

  • Experience managing external ID, engineering and manufacturing partners to deliver successful consumer products

  • Experience building and managing a team

  • Experience building and growing startups

  • Good project management skills

  • Prefer experience with motorized vehicles (cars, drones, scooters, bikes, boards, etc) with batteries, motors, controllers, suspension and tires

Global Ecommerce Logistics Lead

Job Description

You will oversee a global logistics chain that includes transportation, warehouse, and reverse logistics for a fast-growing electric mobility startup. You will own every piece of the journey from the factory to the customer, along with the performance metrics for each partner along the way.

Your role will include understanding the location and status of all inventory is once it has departed the factory, and balance meeting demand with the financial considerations of moving freight world-wide. You will also own reverse logistics and the process of managing returned product.

You will be the single point of contact internally for our freight and logistics partners, and the primary operator of our inventory / order management system. Your channels include both B2B and B2C.

The ideal candidate has experience with logistics for an ecommerce company; an understanding of VAT and cross-border commerce for the EU market; and the ability to work with a rapid flow of inventory.

Responsibilities

  • Manage logistics and 3PL providers globally
  • Own shipping docomentation
  • Ensure compliance with safety, security, and regulatory requirements including but not limited to transport, trade compliance and customs regulations.
  • Oversee performance of Logistics partners by maintaining KPI’s and holding partners accountable to any consistently below-target performance
  • Manage costs across the entire fulfillment system from ex-factory to the customer
  • Planning and implementing the overall supply chain strategy, distribution and analytics
  • Managing efficiency for Warehouse Inventory and overseeing their daily flow
  • Managing 3PL, and reverse logistics (return to vendor and returned product resale)
  • Oversee all shipping carrier management
  • Oversee and manage all vendor communication
  • Ensure correct shipping services are chosen for B2C, B2B orders
  • Oversee the scheduling of Ocean/international and LTL shipments as required
  • Suggest solutions for process improvements
  • Manage the logistics and inventory work of new channel launches

Required Skills and Experience

  • Previous management role in an ecommerce or logistics company
  • 5+ years experience in logistics and 3PL management
  • 2+ years experience in global freight and logistics
  • 2+ years ecommerce experience
  • High competency with MS Excel and google sheets
  • Prior work with cross-border shipping in EU
  • Experience with at least one ecommerce platform
  • Experience with at least one WMS

      Inside Sales / Sales Coordinator

      We are an exciting, venture backed electric scooter brand and looking for another team member in our wholesale sales department. Get in on the ground floor in one of the fastest growing categories in urban transportation. Do you have experience working in the bicycle, e-board, or action sports industries? We want you!

      Responsibilities

      • Maintain relationships with existing customers through effective customer service.
      • 
On-board new dealers through inbound inquiries and strategic prospects

      • Maintain wholesale pipeline in company CRM.

      • Provide weekly updates on the wholesale pipeline.

      • Coordinate with other departments on sales related projects. (events, trade-shows, marketing initiatives, etc.)

      • Attend all applicable sales meetings

      • Assist Sales Director with targeted and strategic communication to customers
      • Gather sales information and engage in monthly/quarterly business reviews and daily/weekly forecast activities
      • Gather information from the retailers on product life cycles and insights to future trends in each sales channel

      • Establish and maintain positive relationships with outside Sales Representatives and their customers

        Required Skills and Experience

        • Client-focused public speaking and presenting as well as strategic insights & selling techniques 

        • Possess high levels of professionalism and accountability 

        • Able to maintain relationships across multiple layers internally and externally 
Must be comfortable interacting with executive levels and individual contributors 

        • Minimum 1 year working in wholesale sales in the bicycle, e-board, or action sports industry

        • Retail experience is a plus
        • Bachelor’s degree
        • United States Work Authorization
        • Located in the USA (Los Angeles or San Francisco area is a plus)
