There's a new Ninebot in town - designed for 'town'. The MAX G2.
Segway Ninebot have reshaped their G30 electric scooter exclusively for the local, urban commute.
Launched in July 2023 to attract a fast-growing community of e scooter riders, the Segway Ninebot MAX G2 is most definitely an electric scooter aimed at the busy, crosstown high-flyer.
And it's not the only e scooter riding today's micromobility wave. And attracting urban commuters needing more affordable and sustainable, personal transportation.
In this article, we'll check out some of the best Segway Ninebot scooter alternatives. Many have been recently upgraded for an improved riding experience. Whether on sidewalk or tarmac, or dirt track and gravel, including:
And the haute couture of urban riding style :
Feelin' charged up, let's go...
Tech brands, Segway and NineBot, joined forces in 2015 to offer an extended range of adult and kids electric scooter.
The first Segway Ninebot Kickscooters arrived in 2017 followed by the G30 MAX series from 2019, and more recent G3OE II upgrades.
July 2023 saw the launch of the MAX G2, an electric scooter of muscular new design and motor power, most definitely created as a commuter scooter.
This upgraded Ninebot kickscooter is powered by Segway's own newly-developed RideyLONG™ Self-Developed Technology*, which offers:
Straightaway, you know you have the average upper limit allowable for safe commuter speeds within your state or county lines. Not only a shade faster than the 24 km/h (14.0 mph) other similar scooters might deliver. But also the extra motor power in your rear wheel when needed.
Four riding modes
Most other scooters will usually give you three riding modes. The Segway Ninebot MAX G2 offers a total of FOUR modes, each with its own maximum speed to match your selected riding style.
Speed 1. ECO "Economic" mode - Top speed 10km/h (6mph) - Riding in Eco mode enables you to "ride far". Selecting low speed means less draw on your battery to extend charge and potential range - up to 70 km (43.4 miles).
Speed 2. "Sport" mode - Top speed 25 km/h (15.5 mph) - Activated on the Segway Ninebot app. When you want to "ride fast", select Sports mode, open up the throttle - and just go for it.
Speed 3. "Drive" mode - Top speed 20km/h (12 mph) - Between ECO and Speed mode is standard Drive mode. Simply double-press to switch for a comfortable and smooth riding style on your daily commute across town. And safely within local speed limits, state or county.
Speed 4. "Walk" mode - Top speed 5km/h (3.1 mph) - Ideal for riders new to the electric scooter deck and learning the handlebar controls. Also accessed and activated by app.
The new compact Segway Ninebot MAX G2 can hit:
As an electric scooter designed for the urban commute, the Ninebot Max G2 may not be a "high performance" scooter. But when peak speed is unlocked on the Segway Ninebot app, the MAX G2 is definitely up for being the fastest e scooter in your neighborhood. Compared to most electric scooters in its class.
And there's also a good reason why the Segway Ninebot is dubbed a "Kickscooter"
It doesn’t have a zero start mode.
To start your ride:
Once you hit the 2.8 km/h (1.8 mph) mark:
This a safety measure to ensure the throttle is only opened up once the scooter is really getting going.
Cruise control
No rider wants the discomfort of a numb thumb. From having to keep the throttle paddle manually engaged over those longer rides. Like the G30, the MAX G2 also offers cruise control.
There are 2 easy options to engage cruise control:
Option ONE: Press the turn signal switch for around one second to engage cruise control, which will automatically lock in your speed.
Option TWO: Hold the accelerator steady for 5 seconds until cruise control kicks in. Exit cruise by just tapping throttle or brakes.
With a rear drive 450-watt motor and 900 watts of peak power the MAX G2 has plenty of hill climb poke to achieve:
Like G3OE II, the MAX G2 packs the same 551Wh of Ion-Lithium battery power.
But here's the kicker - on a single charge this scooter's battery can deliver an extended max. range of 42.8 kms (26.6 miles). Compared to 34.8 kms (21.6 miles) achieved by the G30E II.
Segway Ninebot definitely design and build their electric scooters for putting in those extra urban kilometers.
Plus, a smart battery management system constantly monitors charge status. It's 7 protection mechanisms help to lengthen battery life by preventing:
Plus, low voltage auto-sleep protection
The MAX G2 is pumped up on a pair of 25.4 cm (10 in), tubeless, pneumatic (air-filled) tires.
Just like the G30 - considered one of the first in electric scooter world packing extra inches of wheel rubber - compared to many other scooters with more standard 21.5 cm (18.5 in) tires.
A wider diameter tire and deeper tread has less rolling resistance, which gives a firmer grip on pavement, tarmac and concrete. To simply soak up those jerky bumps, cracks, and potholes.
And more rider comfort for those extended rides.
RideyLONG™ self-healing tires
Another first is the use of self healing tires. The inside surface of both tires of the Segway Ninebot scooter is lined with a sealing gel 'slime'. Which can absorb penetration from objects of up to around 25 mm (1 inch).
If the tire tread or wall is penetrated, gel is immediately released to occupy the puncture area. The temporary plugging of a puncture, cut or tear will allow you to continue riding until you reach your destination.
Self healing tires are becoming a feature of the best electric scooters with air filled tires without an inner tube.
The new Segway Ninebot MAX G2 is fitted with a:
Straightaway you can feel the new suspension gives you:
A reliable ride also needs reliable braking. For those safe stops when you need them. The Segway Ninebot Max G2 come fully loaded with a securely 'encased' dual, regenerative braking system*:
Your left hand side brake lever controls both the front drum brake and rear electronic brake. A short brake cable from lever to wheel means you need minimal hand pressure and there's zero drag.
A typical braking test at 24.1 km/h (15 mph) - gives a robust response. Stopping in only 3.6m (12 ft), below the 4m (13 ft) standard for accepted, prompt braking.
*Regenerative Braking
Applying the brakes releases added 'regenerative braking' energy which is stored in the battery for additional power.
As with both speed and acceleration, you can also control energy recovery on the Segway Ninebot app. A small amount of regenerative brake is applied when you release the throttle.
Lighting your way ahead and staying visible to other road users is always important. Particularly, on those early winter mornings and after dark daily commutes, to and from work. As well as riding at night or in bad weather.
Not every block in your precinct is well lit, including any shortcuts you may take.
The Segway Ninebot Max G2 is equipped with an upgraded:
The usual advice often given with many electric scooters is to fix up an extra LED headlight for that extra illumination of the road ahead.
- plus -
New safety features are:
The MAX G2 cockpit gives you all the features you need to manage your ride. A bright LED display is simply operated by one single button.
Segway Ninebot's Smart Riding Assistant app also connects to your Bluetooth-enabled G2, and can help you to manage functions, including:
Other key controls include: thumb throttle, brake lever and a built-in horn to replace the previous ring-shaped bell.
Nearly the entire length of the handlebars is generously enclosed in a firm-grip, tactile rubber to help you stand comfortably, and feel in total cockpit control.
Segway Ninebot definitely know how to rock a strong, reliable commuter vibe.
In the MAX G2, a sturdy-looking frame, and chunky tires meet muscular, sleek grey finish. For a great "urban and long-ride" experience.
You always need to stand comfortably on your deck. Not just for a short smooth ride across town. But also for easing into a comfortable ride over a longer range.
Here the Segway Ninebot Max G2 deck upgrades to a generous 50.3cm (19.8in) long x 18.5 cm (7.3in) wide. Plus, anextra rear lip to rest your heels.
A wider deck also makes for a better ride quality in cruise control mode. Here, maximum rider weight is also upgraded to 120.2kgs (265lbs).
A high-grip, rubber surface covers the entire surface, and at 7.6 cm (3in), easily clears the ground to avoid those nasty curb-scrapes.
The tough, robust build of the Segway Ninebot Max G2 means it's not the lightest of electric scooters. Weighing in at 24.3 kg (53.5 lbs),not every rider may feel comfortable to carry the MAX G2 more than a short distance.
Only the stem folds down via a ultra-solid folding mechanism consisting of a latched lever and rotating safety collar.
The Ninebot Max G2 folds down to:
Weight: 24.3 kg (53.5 lbs)
Folded dimensions: L: 121cm (47.6in) x W: 57cm (22.4in) x H: 60.5 cm (23. 8in)

Most commuter riders will be totally lovin' the 2023 release of the impressively powerful Segway Ninebot kickscooter MAX G2. Sporting a dual suspension system, and extended range, the MAX G2 is definitely a cut above the previous G30.
But is it the only scooter which can solve your daily commuter needs?
Chinese tech giant, Xiaomi - the world's second largest smartphone maker - also designs a range of punchy, good looking electric scooters.
Their impressive models, from budget to mid range, are aimed at the urban commuter looking for a real personal alternative to using public transport.
Xiaomi launched its 'E-Scooter 4 Pro' in 2022, followed in spring 2023 by the 'Electric scooter 4 Ultra', upgraded with dual suspension and extended range.
As an alternative to the Segway Ninebot kickscooter, its specification and performance are very similar.
Xiaomi 4 Ultra is also tagged as "Ride bold, explore ahead". Let's jump on and find out ...
Xiaomi's 4 Ultra gives you:
Four riding modes
4 Ultra offers four riding modes - just like the Segway Ninebot MAX G2 - each with their own, maximum top speed.
REMEMBER: Choosing faster speeds eats into remaining battery charge and travel distance.
Tackling a steep gradient is always a good 'stress' test of an electric scooter. Trial rides show:
Some context here ...
Experienced riders know the standard, average e scooter can easily deal with 10 - 15 degree inclines. A more powerful scooter with a bigger battery can handle up to 20 degree climbs.
So it's a big plus to know your scooter has the power to make it up a slightly steeper hill. Without stopping or slowing.
So let's look at the all-important battery.
The Xiaomi carries a 12000mAh/ 561.5Wh Lithium-ion battery - larger than the previous Ultra Pro - accompanied by a 54.6VDC Max. output /124W high-power adapter.
A full 6.5 hour charge aims to give you a 70 km (43.5 mph) advertised range. Xiaomi say that's based upon 3 factors:
For most regular rides across town, a single charge can usually give you a reliable 40km (25 miles) over 2 hours, including normal stop-starts.
4 Ultra is up there with the likes of the Segway Ninebot kickscooter, Mercane Widewheel Pro and other scooters with similar wheel size. It's all about plumping up your ride with a pair of 25.4cm (10in) air filled, tubeless tires.
Big pneumatic tires and their deeper tread have less rolling resistance to moving forward, and a firmer grip for simply gliding over bumpy tarmac and paving cracks. And sailing over choppy curb stones.
Self healing gel
These tires are also self healing.
Many more of the best electric scooters built for urban riding have self healing, tubeless tires. It's because no rider wants the hassle of flat tires on their daily work commute.
Instead of replacing a fiddly inner tube, Xiaomi have coated the inner surface of the 4 Ultra tires with DuraGel. This will immediately create a temporary plug in the puncture area - penetration up to 3.5 mm (1/8 in) - and enable you to keep riding until reaching your destination.
A key 2023 upgrade to the Xiaomi 4 Ultra compared to the Pro is the addition of:
Dual suspension makes a huge difference to giving you that 'floating on cloud-9' feeling. Even on uneven surfaces.
Together with the 10in chunky pneumatic tires, dual suspension means a super smooth, comfortable ride. Particularly important for the added range the 4 Ultra can provide.
The Scooter 4 Ultra comes installed with a dual braking system:
A combination of drum and disc brake helps to reinforce the lower braking capacity of the rear wheel. Compared to the higher capacity of the front wheel, electronic braking system.
The addition of regenerative braking, also helps to extend travel distance.
*Regenerative braking - stores energy (created by applying the brakes)in the battery for additional power when using the throttle.
LED Headlight: The best electric scooters will install the headlight high up on the stem. To illuminate the entire way, as far ahead as possible.
Xiaomi have flush mounted their LED headlight directly beneath the handlebars. You simply press the power button below the display to switch on.
Tail light: A large red, capsule-shaped tail-light is mounted on the rear wheel fender. For safer riding before or after dark, and in bad weather, you can programme the tail-light to stay on on using the Xiaomi Home/Mi Home app.
Left and right indicators:
Both the front and rear of the handlebar tips contain amber turn-signals. Activate with one press, to be clearly seen by other pavement or road users, behind and ahead of you.
Reflectors: Long-length, amber capsule reflectors are positioned on both the front and rear wheel suspension arms.
Xiaomi have extended handlebar width to 55cm (21.6 in) encased at each end with chunky, firm-grip, TPR (Thermoplastic Rubber).
Layout couldn't be simpler:
A centrally-positioned, bright LED display gives you clear status readouts of:
Cockpit control of your 4 Ultra is also linked to the Xiaomi Home/Mi Home app. This enables you to lock / unlock, install updates or check reports of previous trips. Use of the app does not affect the actual operating or riding of the scooter.
The new smart and sturdy-looking 4 Ultra is built from high-quality, aircraft-grade aluminum alloy. A lightweight but high strength blend of pure aluminum and manganese.
Xiaomi have also raised the maximum carry load from previous e scooter spec. The 4 Ultra easily supports riders weighing up to 120kg (264.5 lbs).
The adjustable height handlebars are also upgraded to reach 126cm (49 in) from the ground. Allowing most riders between 120cm (4 ft) and 200cm ( 6ft 5in) tall to comfortably stand, control and navigate.
The 4 Ultra deck upgrades to a very roomy L: 51.8 cm (20.4 in) x 17 cm cm (6.7 in). Allowing enough space to support riders for a comfortable ride.
And for your feet to be safely stood upon its super-grip rubber covering the entire surface,
A robust deck-stand to the front, left hand side, folds away completely, leaving more than ample curb clearance.
The 4 Ultra upgrade from the 4 Pro weighs in at 24.5kg (54 lbs), and likely to be viewed as a heavy scooter. So may not so easy for some riders to carry.
However, it can fold down in seconds from:
to
When reassembled - the folding mechanism - a totally solid, locking-latch on the stem - is securely bolted into place with no movement whatsoever.
Weight: 24.5kg (54 lbs)
Folded dimensions: L: 120cm (47.2 in) x H: 53.5cm (21in) x W: 55cm (21.6 in)
Motor power, continuous: 500 watts | 940 watts MAX
Top speed: 25km/h (15.5 mph)
Travel Distance: 70 kms (43.5 miles)
Battery capacity: 561.5Wh
Battery recharge time: 6.5 hrs
Max rider weight: 120kg (264.5 lbs)
Tire Type: 10in pneumatic, tubeless + DuraGel puncture self-healing
Brake type: Front- mechanical drum brake | Rear- electronic + regenerative brake
Lights: Front LED + Rear red LED + side reflectors
Water resistance: IP55 (protection from dust and low-pressure water splashes from any direction)
Daily urban commuters would definitely view The Xiaomi 4 Ultra as a desirable alternative to the Segway Ninebot MAX G2. Both offer almost identical specs, particularly, extra-cushion 10in tires, stepped up motor power and battery charge for maximum speeds, easy hill climbs, and an extended, maximum range.
The recent performance upgrades also include a cool, eye-catching makeover. A trend increasingly seen among scooters designed for the daily urban commute. Arguably, kickstarted by Unagi and their uber-stylish e scooter range.
Let's check out the newest Unagi edition to cool urban scootering ...
The release of Unagi Model One E500 in 2020 more than turned the heads of electric scooter world. It signalled the age of stylish personal transportation really had arrived.
Since launching in 2018, California-based Unagi has continued to transform urban commuting. Offering a compact but impressive range of chic riding e scooters.
And directly attracting a new generation seeking to subscribe to an affordable, sustainable alternative to private and public transport.
Performance meets style for the e-smart generation
The uneveiling of Unagi Voyager in 2023 upgrades urban electric scooter performance and style once more. Offering improved power, speed, and performance, in a new cool palette of lustrous, yet laidback colors.
Tagged as "Double the Range & Half the Charge Time", Voyager promises electric scooter design does more than ride the precinct - it remodels the urban commute.
As an alternative to the single motor Segway Ninebot, the Unagi Voyager has a power advantage - its driven by TWO motors, one in each wheel hub.
2 x 250 watt motors, combine to give a punchy 500 watt output - and a real zip to your daily commute, typically:
Voyager may be described as a mid range performer, designed for a steady, smooth and comfortable work commute. And some weekend scootering fun too.
3 speed modes
Like the best electric scooters, you also get to "customize your ride for the speed you need". Choosing from 3 speed mode settings:
Speed Mode 1 - 14 km/h (9 mph): "Easy does it" riding on a congested route, and for first-time riders to build confidence and master rider control.
Speed Mode 2 - 19 km/h (12 mph): Ideal for the urban daily commute and the longer rides. A "balanced" throttle is on-board for maintaining a steady-pace.
Speed Mode 3 - 27 km/h (17 mph): Max speed well within most state limits when your way is clear and safe to open up the throttle.
A powerful Unagi upgrade for 2023 sees Voyager's dual motors more than match Ninebot Max G2 by delivering:
An extra heavy-duty torque enables Voyager to make light work of those 10-15 degree hill climbs. Beating out the average urban scooter hill climb of 10 percent in around 12 seconds at nearly 17.7 km/h (11 mph).
Unagi have also boosted travel distance for Voyager with a stepped-up:
Without adding to scooter weight the larger battery gives Voyager:
Custom-built monitoring prevents any risk of overheating. Especially, on longer urban commutes or out of town rides.
Unagi Voyager tires, like their other scooters, are:
At first glance, Unagi scooters might be mistaken for having either air filled or solid rubber tires. When in fact, they are honeycomb tires. A combination of air filled and solid tires.
Unagi electric scooters are known for their honeycomb (or "air pocket") tires. This is a system of ribbed air pockets ("honeycombs") around the edge of the entire wheel, which gives:
Unlike, most off road electric scooters, suspension is not included on Voyager.
Voyager is fitted with dual electronic brakes.
Unagi also include a rear fender brake. This is an added foot brake to give a solid, responsive assist to full stops. With no jarring wheel locks when braking on the average, flat urban route.
Typical on-road test results for Unagi:
Unagi has fitted Voyager with :
You need to "always see and be seen". Particularly, when riding:
Unagi have ensured its headlight is mounted at the highest point on the stem - in front of the handlebars - for:
Unagi's distinctive design elegance and urban cool is most evident with the handlebars. It's formed from a single casting of magnesium alloy, one third lighter than aluminum, and seamlessly joined.
Not only looking good but feeling good to touch, too.
A large, bright LED display, is flush-mounted at the center of the handlebars. At a glance you can also instantly see and control:
Voyager also provides a new Unagi control feature:
Smart app
A further performance improvement is the addition of an iOS and Android smart app. This enables you to:
Voyager is available in FOUR new cool-looking, color options:
It's high-spec frame is made from carbon fiber, aluminum and magnesium alloy, which gives an impressive strength-weight ratio to carry riders up to 100 kgs (220lbs).
This makes the Voyager both an exceptionally light scooter but with unbreakable strength. There's even 'invisible' reinforced, frame support at typical stress points.
Voyager sports a slimline deck:
Its wide standing room is larger than a typical scooter deck. And elegantly tapered for riding comfort with a tough, rubber-grip embedded across its entire surface.
Ground clearance is 8.3 cms (3.3 ins) with left-hand side kickstand, neatly folding away when not in use.
Voyager weighs in at a super-featherweight 13.4 kgs (29.6 lbs) - and several pounds lighter than many other scooters for carrying in the palm of one hand.
The Unagi scooter also boasts a fast folding mechanism.
Its one flick, thumb slide action, combined with a 90 degree stem angle, folds Voyager down to 91 cm (37 in) x 40 cm (16in) x 38 cm (15 in).
What other e scooter reduces to such a compact size? For storing neatly away just about anywhere.
Weight: 13.4 kgs (29.6 lbs)
Folded dimensions: 96 cm (37.8 in) x 42 cm (16.4in) x 38 cm (15 in)
Motor power: 1000 W (max)| 500 W (continuous)
Top speed: 32 km/h (20 mph)
Travel distance: 19.3 - 40.2 kms (12 to 25 miles)
Battery capacity: 768Wh
Battery recharge time: 3 hours
Max rider weight: 100 kgs (220 lbs)
Brake type: Dual electronic + rear, foot brake assist.
Tire type: 7.5 inch solid rubber
On-board lights: Dual front LED and Rear light red LED
Water resistance: IP54 (water spray from all directions, dust and small particles)
2023 sees the Unagi Voyager step up both riding performance and style from the previous Model One.
A new, feisty 1000 watt motor and 360Wh battery gives the daily urban commuter an even more powerful, zippy ride - with double the range.
And all elegantly kitted out in one of the sharpest, style-setting colour makeovers no other scooter in its class is likely to match anytime soon.
At the same time ... many urban riders say the NIU KQi-3 MAX electric kickscooter is another one of the best alternatives to the Ninebot MAX G2.
Let's find out ...
Chinese manufacturers, NIU, launched their first e moped in 2015. Now their range of international, award-winning e mopeds and electric scooters are available in 50 countries.
The KQi-3 range of three e scooters was released in 2022, tagged as the, "SUV of scooters". Leading the pack is KQi-3 MAX. It gained enough reputation by 2023 to be considered one of the best all rounders for urban commuting.
KQi-3 MAX packs:
Straight off, you can see how performance follows almost exactly in the wheel tracks of the Segway NineBot. And other scooters designed with the daily urban commute in mind.
Another similar feature to the Segway Ninebot is:
FOUR riding modes
First two modes are accessed by one long press of the power button followed by one short press to change riding modes.
Cruise control
Cruise control automatically kicks in after riding for a period of time. Allowing you to remove your hand from the throttle.
NIU state the KQi-3 MAX can tackle 25 per cent gradients. Packing the same 450w of motor power as the Ninebot MAX, which can manage 22 per cent climbs.
Much will depend on rider weight, and speed selected. And not all hill climb conditions are the same.
Many scooters are capable of easily handling 10 - 15 degree inclines. The KQi-3 can make this in around 14-15 secs.
As brands continue to upgrade their scooter power for urban performance, it's not unusual to see hill climbs rise too.
KQi-3 MAX carries a large 48V 608.4Wh lithium battery.
It's a more powerful than average battery for a mid range urban scooter, giving you a handy 65kms (40 miles) on a single charge of 8 hours. A typical distance for the daily, urban hop across town.
Chunky tires for the win. As with Mercane Widewheel Pro, Ninebot Max and Xiaomi 4 Ultra. Here we have an electric scooter designed for riding sidewalks and tarmac.
KQi-3 is fitted with:
Up until recently, it was high performance scooters built for the rough terrain sporting large tires with deep treads.
Increasingly, the focus is on plumping up a smooth, comfortable ride for mid range scooters on bumpy tarmac and sidewalk in your local neighborhood. KQi-3 gives you 30 percent more rubber tire protection from jolts and shocks. Which makes up for lack of suspension.
Self healing tire gel
NIU have also majored on the very practical trend for self healing tires. Instead of an inner tube, the inside surface of a pneumatic (air filled) tire is lined with a sealing gel.
If the tire tread or wall is penetrated, the gel is immediately released. A puncture, cut or tear will be filled by the gel to prevent a flat and allow you to continue riding.
It's an effective, temporary measure to get you to your destination. And then carry out a permanent repair or tire replacement.
Most scooters tend to have a dual braking system fitted. The KQi-3 comes with a big safety plus:
A triple braking system - plus variable regenerative braking:
The very noticeable, bright red callipers clamp solidly onto the brake disc from both sides. Braking at 25 km/h (15 mph) can bring you to a dead stop between 9 and 10 feet.
"Variable" regenerative braking
This is a step up from standard regenerative braking, which is a simple "full on" or "full off" action.
Here, a "variable" action means:
The more pressure you apply to the lever - the more stored energy is released to both front and rear brake, automatically.
Regenerative braking strength is also adjustable via the NIU app.
Visibility at all times is essential. Not just for night riding.
NIU have installed:
Bright orange diagonal reflective strips are clearly visible either side of the upper stem and wheel stems.
KQi-3 Max features easy-to-use handlebar controls.
LED Display
A sharp, bright LED display sits in the middle of the handlebars, that's clear to read in direct sunlight and low light, including readouts of:
Manual control
Brake levers - left and right of handlebars
Bell - left hand side
Thumb throttle - right hand side
Bluetooth
The NIU app features include:
The entire KQi-3 build is made from 'aerospace grade' aluminum. Which brings an 'industrial' level of structural strength and durability to withstand frequent use. Max. rider weight: 120 kgs (265 lbs).
Measuring 17cm (6.7in) × 56.8 cm (22.4in), NIU have installed an extra wide deck to give riders more standing space for the daily commute and longer rides.
Clearance under deck is 7.6cm (2.9in).
It's entire elegantly shaped contours with raised front and rear foot rest are covered in a wide pattern, firm-grip rubber.
KQi-3 weighs in at 21 kgs (46.3 lbs) because of its larger motor and battery. Which some riders might find less easy to carry, say, up a steep stairs.
Folding down uses a "one touch" folding mechanism to a compact, hassle-free carry.
Weight: 21 kgs (46.3 lbs)
Folded dimensions: 115.5 cm (45.5in) x 117.0 cm(46.1 in) x 50.2cm (19.8in)
Motor power, continuous: 450 watts | 900 watts MAX
Top speed: 25km/h (15.5 mph)
Travel Distance: 65 km (40.3 miles)
Battery capacity: 608.4Wh
Battery recharge time: 8 hrs
Max rider weight: 120 kgs (265 lbs)
Tire Type: 9.5in pneumatic, tubeless + self-healing
Brake type: Front and Rear - mechanical disc | Rear - electric + regenerative
Lights: Front "Halo" LED + Rear red LED + side reflectors
Water resistance: IP54 (protected from dust and water splashes from any direction)
With it's wide wheels, amped up motor and large battery storage, KQi-3 MAX offers a powerful and durable riding alternative to the Segway Ninebot MAX, and scooters with almost identical spec.
It's also a comfortable stylish, urban ride following in the smooth, aesthetic afterglow of the Unagi brand of e scooters.
